Kaleido

Midnight is the ground, neon is the ink. Kaleido runs a persistent GPU-rendered skyline-and-reflection background behind the whole long-scroll destination showcase, built on a genuine multi-hue spectrum — cyan, magenta, violet and gold used deliberately as a set, not one accent plus noise. Surfaces stay dark glass and only the things that actually emit light carry a coloured bloom, tuned for operators who sell a city after dark rather than a generic travel template.

Overview

Kaleido’s whole visual argument is a harbour at night: deep indigo everywhere as the ground, with colour arriving only as light — signage, glass, reflections — never as a pastel wash or a flat mid-grey. Where most dark themes in this catalogue commit to one accent, Kaleido is deliberately multi-hue: cyan, magenta, violet and gold are used as a set, spread across a gradient or a row of cards, so the page genuinely reads kaleidoscope rather than one brand colour plus noise. The rule that keeps it disciplined is that light sources glow and surfaces don’t — anything that emits, a CTA, an active filter chip, a stat, carries a coloured bloom, while anything that merely holds content stays dark glass with a hairline edge. A persistent GPU-rendered skyline-and-reflection canvas sits behind the entire long-scroll destination showcase as atmosphere, kept low-contrast under text so it’s never competing with a headline; real photography, not the canvas, is treated as the actual destination.

Fellrise

A persistent WebGL2 'liquid topography' field — real 2D simplex noise, 4-octave fBm domain warping and finite-difference-normal specular lighting, switchable between two atmosphere palettes — behind a real wind-chill index, a corrected Naismith's Rule, the 5-tier avalanche danger scale and a real GPX 1.1 track exporter.

WanderLuxe

A black-and-gold luxury expedition travel theme with a persistent hand-written Canvas2D particle background (gold dust / snowfall / sakura / stars, real mouse-force physics), a fully live no-reload style customizer (5 palettes, 3 fonts, 5 particle effects), a Web-Audio-synthesized ambient soundscape engine, and real structured journal articles — EXIF-captioned photography, a draggable before/after slider, itinerary timelines, and budget breakdowns.

Thermae

Thermae

$95

The water is actually simulated, not looped. Thermae's water surface runs on a genuine GPU stable-fluids simulation rather than a decorative looping video, set against a palette of deep indigo night, warm lantern amber, mineral teal and cedar-brown. The whole site is built around six real, distinctly specified pools for a mineral-bathing and thermal-retreat brand, each described rather than lumped into one generic spa amenities list.
