Overview
Stow is a WordPress theme for independent self-storage operators and small location groups. Architectural photography, calm neutral surfaces and green accents introduce a practical customer journey: compare a space, explore a neighborhood and ask the team about availability. The homepage brings together scenario tabs, measured footprint cards, a packing checklist and an editorial journal, with supporting detail pages rather than dead-end demo buttons.
Four storage scenarios cover moving home, business stock, renovations and seasonal belongings. Each has its own editable WordPress page, useful preparation notes and a suggested size to explore. A storage guide explains measuring, packaging, labeling, access and move-in questions. The six-item checklist keeps progress in the current browser tab and supports reset. Seven journal articles and related reading help visitors plan their next step. Homepage scenario tabs support keyboard navigation; articles use photographic or illustrated covers and reading-time labels.
Procedural water-surface backgrounds combine fine ripples, directional reflections and refracted caustic-like detail in the opening and size studio. A visible play/pause control supports deliberate motion playback while respecting reduced-motion preferences by default. Rendering prefers WebGPU, with WebGL2 and static fallbacks, and pauses offscreen or when hidden. The interactive cutaway follows the selected storage dimensions. Footprint comparisons illustrate floor area and explain why actual belongings and access space affect the fit.
Storage spaces and locations are native WordPress records with editable dimensions, rates, descriptions, addresses, access information and featured photographs. The finder carries a selected unit and location into a validated availability enquiry saved as a private record. The importer adds demonstration content while preserving existing matching edits. Local fonts and imagery are bundled. Sample rates, addresses and facility images are illustrative; the theme collects enquiries, with live inventory, payment and rental agreements handled separately by the operator.

Version 1.6 expands the customer journey with four scenario panels and dedicated native pages, proportional footprint comparisons, a six-item packing checklist, a complete storage guide and seven journal articles. Editorial covers, reading times, related articles and additional practical FAQs enrich the supporting pages. Water rendering and private enquiries are retained.
