Merrick & VaneLaw Firm WordPress Theme
Restraint as the differentiator: one quiet glass canvas, one real practice-area matrix. A persistent site-wide WebGL2 ambient glass canvas — hand-written GLSL, no Three.js — runs unchanged across every template on a 3-tier reduced-motion capability ladder. A genuine data-driven Practice Area by Industry matrix holds 42 hand-written cell descriptions with a crawlable no-JS fallback, cross-referenced through Practice Area, Attorney, and Matter custom post types, behind a nonce-verified, honeypot-protected AJAX consultation form.

Overview
A full-service law firm theme built as a deliberate restraint exercise: the most genericized professional-services genre in this catalogue, made distinct through quiet craft rather than novelty. A persistent, site-wide WebGL2 canvas — two slow domain-warped glass-pane bands plus an analytic caustic approximation — runs continuously from hero to footer on every template at deliberately low intensity, rendering the quiet quality of daylight refracting through architectural glass rather than a decorative hero flourish. The commercial spine is a real, data-driven Practice Area x Industry cross-reference matrix on the How We Help page — 6 practice areas by 7 industries, 42 genuinely distinct hand-written intersection descriptions, not a repeated template sentence — fully crawlable and usable with JavaScript disabled. Three cross-referenced custom post types (Practice Areas, Attorneys, Notable Matters) and a real nonce-verified AJAX consultation-request intake round out a working attorney-callback lead flow. Warm ivory and parchment against deep oxblood and ink charcoal, on self-hosted Frank Ruhl Libre and Urbanist.
