Overview

Formwork’s design language is stated as five rules, and the theme holds to all of them. Photography carries the page — a section without a real project photo gets cut rather than padded out with a stock icon. Comparison is shown, never dragged: before-and-after photography sits fully visible side by side, because a slider that hides half the evidence behind a handle is less honest than two photos a visitor can actually study — and building that slider was the one interaction pattern this theme refuses on purpose. One accent is reserved strictly for the interactive layer (links, buttons, active states) and never poured over a whole section as a colour wash. The background is one continuous GPU-rendered scene rather than a hero video that stops: planks assemble once on load, and dust keeps drifting for as long as a visitor scrolls, genuinely rendered rather than looped. Hairlines divide sections; shadows are reserved for things that actually lift off the page, like a card on hover or a sticky header, never used as decoration.
