Chroma

Color, without compromise. Chroma's hero runs a genuine stable-fluids solver on the GPU — semi-Lagrangian advection, vorticity confinement and Jacobi pressure projection, all in raw self-hosted WebGL2 — so pigment actually swirls and mixes rather than looping. The interactive Shade Wall filters and cross-fades live previews with a five-shade compare tray, and the sticky Palette Rail lets visitors recolor the entire page from a swatch nav. A Product CPT and Category taxonomy drive the catalog, with AJAX signup for shade-list drops.

Overview

Chroma is a colour-forward cosmetics theme organised around a Palette Rail — a sticky vertical swatch strip that recolours the page’s live accent as you scroll, so the brand’s own range drives the interface instead of a fixed theme colour. The hero is a real-time GPU pigment-fluid simulation: a genuine stable-fluids solver with semi-Lagrangian advection, vorticity confinement and Jacobi pressure projection, written in raw WebGL2 and self-hosted. It behaves like pigment in water because it is solving for that, not sampling noise.

An interactive Shade Wall lets shoppers filter the range, cross-fade between shades on a live preview and hold up to five in a compare tray — the decision a cosmetics buyer actually makes, built as a real interface rather than a gallery. A scroll-drawn botanical diagram traces each ingredient from plant to formulation, and the product architecture is built for a range with many shades per SKU rather than a handful of single items.

Chatoyance Featured

A one-of-a-kind jewelry maison storefront: a real Three.js/WebGL2 gem viewer lets shoppers drag-orbit each piece, swap between 18K gold, rose gold, platinum and blackened metal in real time, and read live facet-angle, refractive-index, critical-angle and fire-frequency numbers off an on-canvas HUD as the stone turns. A browsing-history-driven style curator recommends pieces from the visitor's own session, computed entirely client-side with no dependency on any external AI service. Runs as a compiled React/Vite storefront embedded inside a classic WordPress theme, with a custom "Luxury Products" catalogue (no WooCommerce dependency).
