Verrière

The page is built as a leaded light. Verrière sets content inside irregular, hand-built glass quarries separated by real lead cames instead of a rectangular card grid, with an SVG-filter antique-glass texture on every pane. A scroll-driven sun angle relights every pane live through @property-typed custom properties for genuinely smooth interpolation, saturated ruby, cobalt, emerald and amber sit on near-black lead, and a fixed vertical navigation rail replaces the usual top bar and full-viewport photo hero.

Overview

Verrière is held to five structural rules, each a deliberate break from the generic dark-hero template a studio like this could have drifted into. Navigation is a fixed vertical rail on the left, never a top bar. There is no full-viewport photo hero with a headline parked in the bottom-left corner. Content lives inside irregular glass quarries inside a leaded grid, never in full-width stacked bands of eyebrow-heading-paragraph. Colour is saturated — ruby, cobalt, emerald, amber — on near-black lead, not a muted two-tone palette. And the footer is a maker’s-mark plate, not four columns of links. The glass itself carries a genuine SVG-filter antique texture, and a scroll-driven sun angle relights every pane live — made smooth by registering –-sun, –-lux and –-tint as typed custom properties via @property, since a plain custom property can’t be interpolated and the gradient would otherwise jump on every scroll frame instead of sweeping across the panes.

A one-of-a-kind jewelry maison storefront: a real Three.js/WebGL2 gem viewer lets shoppers drag-orbit each piece, swap between 18K gold, rose gold, platinum and blackened metal in real time, and read live facet-angle, refractive-index, critical-angle and fire-frequency numbers off an on-canvas HUD as the stone turns. A browsing-history-driven style curator recommends pieces from the visitor's own session, computed entirely client-side with no dependency on any external AI service. Runs as a compiled React/Vite storefront embedded inside a classic WordPress theme, with a custom "Luxury Products" catalogue (no WooCommerce dependency).

A persistent WebGL2 fluid field — real 2D simplex noise run through 5-octave curl-advected, pointer-reactive fractional Brownian motion, modelling crema and pour turbulence, switchable between Espresso Dark and Roastery Morning Light — behind a real SCA Golden Cup extraction calculator, a real Development Time Ratio roast simulator, a real Kozeny-Carman dripper lab, and the real SCA 100-point cupping protocol.

Two real calculations carry the site: a WebGL2 hexagon-packing comb field, and a waggle-dance bearing calculator built on the actual relationship a forager's dance encodes. The comb field runs genuine flat-top axial and pixel conversion with cube-coordinate rounding and an exact hexagon SDF, while the waggle calculator combines a NOAA simplified solar-position formula with von Frisch's real sun-relative bearing relationship. Colonies, honey, sites, services, testimonials, and markets run as custom post types behind a working AJAX inquiry endpoint, for apiaries and small honey producers.
