Slipstream Films

Shot warm, cut fast, graded hot. Slipstream Films runs on a warm near-black base — sun-baked outdoor, not a cold server-room duotone — with a single hot flare accent carrying almost all the signal, and a rare cold streak-cyan used the way a real lens throws chromatic fringing at speed, never treated as a co-equal second brand colour. The portfolio is organised by discipline and location for an action-sports film and photography studio, not a generic creative-agency grid.

Overview

Slipstream’s whole visual argument is speed, and the palette is built to argue it honestly: a warm near-black base rather than the cold neutral near-black a server-room SaaS theme would reach for, because this is outdoor and sun-baked, not a datacentre. A single hot flare colour carries almost all the signal. A cold streak-cyan exists too, but it’s used the way a real lens throws chromatic fringing at speed — a rare one- or two-pixel edge, never a co-equal second brand colour, which deliberately keeps Slipstream distinct from the two black-and-neon duotone themes already in this catalogue (Wavefront, Refract): this one is warm and sun-baked, not cold and technical. Built for an independent studio covering freeride skiing, big-wave surfing, downhill, wingsuit and moto — a fictional studio, not a real company, with a portfolio structure organised around discipline and location rather than a generic project grid.

Real bokeh math for the hero, a real pixel-level grade for the pitch. A persistent hand-written WebGL2 depth-of-field scene computes an actual per-object circle-of-confusion value every frame to drive bokeh radius and edge blur, running on a 4-tier capability ladder with a runtime FPS watchdog. A real canvas-based color-grade tool applies genuine lift/gamma/gain, saturation, and vignette matrix math to live pixel data, alongside a scroll-scrubbed film-strip gallery and Project, Crew, and Service custom post types — zero third-party JS.

Splice

$69

Splice is built for video editing and post-production studios, and it takes its premise seriously: the page isn't decorated with video, it's built from it. Sections are structured as real clip transitions and cuts rather than static blocks with a video background bolted on, giving the whole site a cinematic, dark, technical feel that matches the craft it's selling — a portfolio built the way an editor actually thinks, in cuts, not slides.

Corner is a multipurpose sports theme built for combat and athletics businesses running more than one discipline under one roof. Five real discipline-specific presets ship in a single install, each with its own layout rhythm and content structure, so a multi-discipline gym or club gets a site that actually looks built for each program instead of one generic sports template stretched and reused five separate times.
