Who it is for

Independent fishing tackle shops, fly shops and bait-and-tackle counters. Anglers look a shop up before a trip: what should I fish with on this water, is it in stock, are you open, and can I trust your advice. Tackle answers those on the first screen.

A lake that moves

The home page opens on a lake surface rendered live in WebGPU, with a float bobbing on its line. Move the pointer and the water ripples. A still of the same lake loads first, so the page is fast and looks right where WebGPU is not available.

The gear finder

Choose the water — creek, river, lake or coast — and the fish. The theme lays out a starting point: rod length, line weight, reel size and what to start with. The same table runs on the server and in the browser, and every value is a filter you can change.

Built for trust

Journal posts carry a named author and bio, the published and updated dates, a reading time and the sources they rely on. Editorial policy, privacy, returns and terms pages are linked from every page, with Article, LocalBusiness, FAQ and breadcrumb structured data. The demo never invents reviews or credentials: facts a real shop must supply are marked as placeholders.
