Overview
Who it is for
Manufacturers who export — factories selling to importers, wholesalers, retailers and brands abroad. It is one of the largest groups of businesses that need a serious English website, and most of them are still on templates built for shops. Tradewind is built around what an importer asks before anything else: what it costs, how many they must order, how long it takes, how it is packed, and whether the factory is real.
A sculpture of light
The front page opens on your products drawn in light: 131,072 particles simulated by a WebGPU compute shader assemble into one product after another — a filament bulb, a copper pendant, a sputnik chandelier, a cage lamp, an LED ring — and last into a shipping container. Each new form rises from the bottom up while the light swirls; a glass card beside it names the model, MOQ and FOB price and links to it. The pointer pushes the light aside; scrolling pours it away. HDR sprites, a four-level bloom and ACES tone mapping; a WebGL2 fallback runs the same simulation on the processor.
The numbers importers price with
Every product carries model number, specifications, minimum order, lead time, FOB price band, HS code, certificates, customisation options and its carton. From the carton the theme works out how many pieces fit a 20GP, 40GP and 40HQ — and draws it: a 3D load plan on the GPU fills the container carton by carton for any order quantity, with cartons, volume, weight and containers needed.
One inquiry for many products
“Add to inquiry” collects products into a basket as the buyer browses; a three-step request for quotation carries them all with quantities, Incoterm and destination port. Every request is validated on the server, stored privately with a reference number, and emailed to sales.
The factory, shown
A pinned factory tour passes from tool room to loading dock through a shader transition with a burning seam; last year’s shipments stack themselves as a container yard on the GPU while the count climbs. Certificates are foil cards with issuer, number and validity worked out from the expiry date, each with a link to verify it. Named people, buyers with company and country, articles with writer, checker and sources, and Organization, Product and Certification structured data.
