Independent cartography studio theme, where the homepage is a pannable, zoomable illustrated map instead of a scrolling page. It's built entirely in SVG and CSS, deliberately without WebGL — the studio's own hand-drawn linework is the graphic engine, not a shader. The palette runs light and aged-parchment, matched to the paper and ink the studio actually works in. For a cartographer, the navigation itself is the portfolio piece.

Contour breaks from every scroll-driven homepage in this catalogue on purpose: the front page is a literal pannable, zoomable illustrated map — built entirely from SVG and CSS, no WebGL — that a visitor navigates the way they’d unfold a real paper map, with project locations as pins to click into. It’s a genuine structural departure, not a hero gimmick bolted onto an otherwise ordinary layout.
The palette is light aged-parchment paper with forest-green and rust ink tones, matching a working cartography studio’s actual materials rather than a generic ‘creative agency’ dark-mode default.
