Who we are
Kiln (kilnwp.com) is a foundry of original WordPress themes. This policy covers the personal data we collect when you browse the catalogue, request a demo, or send us an enquiry through the site.
What we collect
The only personal data Kiln collects directly is what you submit through the enquiry form (the “Get this theme” and “Ask a question” dialogs): your name, email address, an optional message, and — if you enquired about a specific theme — which one. We also record your IP address for a few minutes to throttle spam submissions; that record expires automatically and is never linked to your enquiry.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone outside Kiln.
How your enquiry is handled
Submitting the enquiry form sends an email to our team — it is not stored in a public database or comment thread. We use it to reply with licensing and download details for the theme you asked about, or to answer a general question. We keep that email for as long as we need it to help you (for example, if you later ask about updates or support), then delete it.
Cookies
Kiln does not set marketing or tracking cookies. If you ever log in to the site (for example, as an administrator), standard WordPress session cookies apply — these are functional only and expire automatically.
Embedded & linked content
Each catalogue listing links out to a live demo of that theme, hosted on its own subdomain. Those demo sites are separate WordPress installs for preview purposes; browsing one is subject to the same practices described here, not a third party’s policy.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we’ll handle it directly — no account or login required, since we don’t keep one for you in the first place.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are protected against automated spam with a honeypot field and a per-IP rate limit, and every submission is verified with a WordPress nonce before it’s processed.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and adjust the date below. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
