Ember is a dark, cinematic theme for wood-fired grills and steakhouses that want the site to feel like the dining room. The hero renders real-time WebGL embers and smoke drifting off a live flame simulation, not a looping video clip. A tabbed menu built on a custom post type lays out dishes with classic dotted price leaders, an AJAX reservation form delivers bookings to a private inbox, and split-text reveals, parallax, tilt, marquee, and cursor-trailing embers carry the fire theme through every section.

Overview
A dark, cinematic WordPress theme for wood-fired grills, steakhouses and modern restaurants — the kind of place that cooks over live fire and wants a website that smells of oak smoke. A real-time WebGL field of rising embers and drifting smoke renders live in the hero (a hand-written fragment shader, warm to near-black, with flickering sparks that track the cursor), behind a huge Cormorant Garamond headline and a framed hero plate. It is the longest, most section-dense theme in the collection: hero, marquee, manifesto, story, count-up stats, signature plates, a full tabbed menu, a full-bleed live-fire band, a chef’s quote, gallery, events & private dining, testimonials, an AJAX reservation form and a journal — a complete restaurant site in one scroll.
Ember is powered by real content types — Menu dishes with prices, flags and a menu-section taxonomy; Events; Testimonials; and a private Reservations inbox — with a one-click demo importer that seeds a full eighteen-dish menu. The motion layer is deliberately maximal but disciplined: split-text reveals, count-up numerals, scroll parallax, 3D tilt, magnetic buttons, dual marquees, a cursor ember trail, film grain and a scroll-progress bar, every single effect fully disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
