Prism

A real optical-dispersion GPU shader for a background — one white beam of light splitting into a physically-correct spectral fan (real Cauchy dispersion + Snell's law double refraction, not art-directed rainbow) as you scroll — plus a real WCAG contrast checker, a real modular type-scale generator, and a real HSL color-harmony wheel.

Overview

Prism is a full-service creative & branding agency theme — brand identity, web design & development, marketing campaigns, packaging & print, motion & video, built for a studio that serves clients across every industry rather than one narrow trade. The persistent background isn’t decorative rainbow art: it’s a hand-written WebGL2 shader rendering a real optical dispersion event, and every interactive tool on the site runs on real design-science formulas a working agency actually uses.

1. A real WCAG 2.1 contrast-ratio checker. The genuine W3C relative-luminance and contrast-ratio formulas — not an approximation — computing the real ratio between any two colors and checking it against the real published AA/AAA thresholds for normal and large text.

2. A real modular type-scale generator. Genuine named typographic ratios (minor third, major third, perfect fourth, perfect fifth, golden ratio) computing a real seven-size scale from a base size, rendered live at true size so the hierarchy is visible, not just numbers in a table.

3. A real HSL color-harmony wheel. Genuine HSL-to-hex math computing real complementary, triadic, analogous, and split-complementary color harmonies by hue rotation from any base color.

The signature GPU background renders a single white beam of light entering a glass prism and splitting into a real spectral fan from a hand-written WebGL2 fragment shader — each color band’s exit angle is computed live from real optics (Cauchy’s dispersion equation feeding the standard equilateral-prism double-refraction formula), so violet genuinely bends more than red, not an art-directed rainbow. Scroll carries a real creative narrative: one idea, one white beam, near the top — the full spectrum, fully separated and bright, by the bottom. 10 demo case studies across 5 service lines and 10 different fictional client industries, every project entirely fictional — no real client names or logos.

Signature: hand-written zero-dependency WebGL2 light-dispersion shader — real Cauchy dispersion equation + equilateral-prism double-refraction (Snell's law) computed live per wavelength band, scroll-tied narrative (single beam to full spectrum) with a glowing prism and ambient bounce. Signature 2: real WCAG 2.1 relative-luminance contrast-ratio checker. Signature 3: real named modular type-scale generator. Signature 4: real HSL color-harmony wheel. Capability-gated: reduced-motion/no-WebGL2/weak-GPU/save-data never touch the live canvas, CSS fallback only. Self-hosted OFL fonts. No third-party JS libraries. 10 demo case studies across 5 service lines and 10 fictional client industries, all entirely fictional.

Release

v1.0.0 A real optical-dispersion GPU shader for a background — one white beam of light splitting into a physically-correct spectral fan (real Cauchy dispersion + Snell's law double refraction, not art-directed rainbow) as you scroll — plus a real WCAG contrast checker, a real modular type-scale generator, and a real HSL color-harmony wheel.

The complete, dated version history ships in the theme’s CHANGELOG file. Every purchase includes lifetime access to future updates.

A one-of-a-kind jewelry maison storefront: a real Three.js/WebGL2 gem viewer lets shoppers drag-orbit each piece, swap between 18K gold, rose gold, platinum and blackened metal in real time, and read live facet-angle, refractive-index, critical-angle and fire-frequency numbers off an on-canvas HUD as the stone turns. A browsing-history-driven style curator recommends pieces from the visitor's own session, computed entirely client-side with no dependency on any external AI service. Runs as a compiled React/Vite storefront embedded inside a classic WordPress theme, with a custom "Luxury Products" catalogue (no WooCommerce dependency).

A persistent WebGL2 light field built on Schlick's Fresnel approximation and diamond's real per-wavelength dispersion, a Gem Physics comparator on real mineralogical constants, and Web Audio synthesis driven by each piece's real beat frequency and bell-partial ratios.

The background is the product. A real WebGL2 particle field runs behind the whole site, five simulations deep, with its live state reported in the rail rather than claimed in the copy. It's a genuine WebGL2 transform-feedback particle integration with a ping-ponged trail buffer, sharing one engine across five simulations on a classic no-build-step PHP theme with zero third-party JavaScript. Case studies, capabilities, recognition, and testimonials run as real post types, backed by a working AJAX inquiry endpoint that actually stores and notifies — built for creative and design agencies.
