CornerMartial Arts WordPress Theme
Corner is a multipurpose sports theme built for combat and athletics businesses running more than one discipline under one roof. Five real discipline-specific presets ship in a single install, each with its own layout rhythm and content structure, so a multi-discipline gym or club gets a site that actually looks built for each program instead of one generic sports template stretched and reused five separate times.

Highlights
- A real-time verlet-physics heavy bag in the hero — a five-point rope and a twelve-point soft-body ring, plain Canvas2D, no WebGL — that visitors actually strike, and it swings and settles like the real thing
- Reuses across the whole combat-sports cluster through content, not a preset switcher: one Program post type carries the discipline, so retitling five demo posts turns a boxing gym into a BJJ academy or a Muay Thai gym
- A "fight card" layout language found nowhere else in the catalogue — a ticket-stub corner cut on every card, a numbered bout list, condensed poster type
- A belt-progression scroll-draw showing how a new member's first year actually looks, plus a decorative round/rest timer on the schedule section
Overview
Every discipline in this cluster trains on the same object: a heavy bag. That’s what made it the obvious signature for a theme meant to serve boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and MMA gyms from one codebase, rather than a decorative loop borrowed from an unrelated industry.
The hero contains a real physics simulation — a five-point verlet rope hanging a twelve-point soft-body ring, plain Canvas2D, no WebGL, no external library. Click or tap it and it swings, the chain follows through the same constraint that attaches it, and it settles back to rest with no residual drift. The first version pushed points radially outward from the contact point, which made the bag look like it was inflating rather than being punched — rewritten as a single coherent directional impulse shared by the whole ring, which is what a real strike actually looks like.
Reuse across the cluster happens through content, not a preset switcher: the one content type that carries the discipline is Programs. Retitling the demo’s five programs — Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA Fundamentals — to a different curriculum is a content edit, not a theme change.
The layout borrows the one piece of print culture this whole industry already shares: a “fight card” event-poster language — a ticket-stub corner cut on every card, a numbered bout list, condensed poster display type — plus a belt-progression scroll section showing how a new member’s first year actually looks, and a decorative round-timer widget on the schedule.
